My Monster Nation
"Maybe I'll join next year." That is what I've told myself for the past two years, putting it off time and time again. Now, in my junior year of high school, I've fully immersed myself in the beautiful chaos that is Key Club. Over the course of half a year, I've met the most inclusive people who have shown me more compassion than I could possibly imagine. With their plethora of service events to the infinitely enjoyable socials, Key Club has transformed me from the jaded, isolated person I used to be, into a much more vivacious and happy individual. Irene B. West's Harvest Festival, Superheroes of Service, Santa's Gift of Service... All these amazing service events has enamored me as a member of the community. Despite these experiences, my favourite memory of Key Club thus far comes from Fall Rally, where the Monsters truly roared and won the spirit stick. This was the first time that I truly felt that I belonged in the family of Division 7 South, as well as the moment I decided to dedicate myself entirely to my fellow Monsters
