Fantastic Fally Rally North

Waking up early in the morning, packing my bags, scrambling around the house with uncontainable excitement... It was like I was a 5-year-old getting ready to go to Disneyland with my family; except I was a proud Key Clubber getting ready to go to Fall Rally North with my Key Club Ohana. It was a cool fall morning where the sunrise's brilliant orange and pink colors blended and shone brightly. Our Junior VP had brought donuts for everyone, people were hairspraying their hair a fluorescent orange, others were showing off their spirit gear, and a few talked among themselves while we all waited for bus. Once the bus had arrived, we all loaded onto it, sitting with our friends and the likes. None of us could hold our enthusiasm so the best was to control our energy and use it to practice our chants in preparation for long-awaited rally! Of course, everyone had to take it down a notch otherwise we would lose our voices before we could give it our all once we got there. The excitement had died down a little as the long bus ride continued but it rose to new heights as we saw the amusement park in the distance. The park wasn't the only thing that we saw. It was a world of color: bright orange and white, black and yellow, blue and gold, purple and black, and so much more. It wasn't a surprise everyone wanted to get off the bus as soon as they could. After we had our tickets situated and entered the Six Flags, we made our way to the stadium. It was an outdoor stadium that overlooked a beautiful lake. D7S was ushered to stand in the middle and soon, the rally started. There was a plehtora of people before us, standing on the stage. There were the speeches to motivate and educate the attendees of FRN about PTP. To fundraise money for PTP, there was an auction on the LTGs and district board members. D7S had managed to win Phungthao Nguyen. Finally, there was the spirit battle. We had stood there for nearly an hour, cheering and screaming to our heart's content but it was worth it. Why? D7S took home the spirit stick.
