Kiwanis One Day
"I went to Kiwanis One Day so I can have the opportunity to get to know the entire K-Family, as well as to collaborate with them to make the Kiwanis Family House an even better place. When I first arrived, I felt so important and needed, and very enthusiastic to help out. We were divided into two large groups: the inside workers and outside workers. I chose to work inside the family house and it was a great experience. We changed smoke detector batteries, changed the sheets on the beds, and recorded any of the other things that need fixing. I met so many new members of the K-Family, such as members of Circe K; it was a blast working with all of them. I do regret not coming out of my bubble a bit, since I stuck mainly with the members of my club; however it was a great opportunity to bond with my fellow club members."
